Update: 5/27/09 - PICTURES!!!!!

CYE School in Liberia finally gets its first shipment (50) of desks and chairs. They were also able to pay all of their teacher's salaries for a month! They were able to do all of this with the first donation from Bulldog Nation for Liberia Education ($1,463). Another donation close to this sum will soon follow. The students and staff hosting this long term fundraiser have done an amazing job staying focused throughout the past half a year. They continue to do great work for CYE School. Thanks from everyone at CYE and GWF.

Update: 5/10/09 - The Race

Canton High School Students and Educators take part in the annual Cox Providence Road Races to raise money for CYE Schools in Liberia.

Update: 4/7/09 - First Half Donations Sent

GWF wires $1,500 worth of donations to the CYE Schools in Liberia. With the banking system still in its early stages, and electricity sporadic, we await anxiously for the confirmation e-mail from Liberia. We are excited to see what the first half of the donations can do for our partner school in Liberia.

Update: 4/4/09 - Car Wash

Canton High School Students organize a weekend car wash to help bring in more money for the purchase of the desks and chairs for the CYE Schools in Liberia. Over $500 dollars are raised!!!!!!!!!! With the economy still slumping, hard work is the best way to ensure donations. Keep up the good work Bulldogs!

Update: 4/3/09 - New Pictures

CYE sends GWF some of its latest pictures from their new school in Liberia. With the electricity down in their area, they travel an hour to the capital just to send the pictures.

Update: 1/29/09 - Global Giving

In the past three weeks donations from around the country (and world) have come in supporting "Bulldog Nation for Liberia Education." From Massachusetts to California, from New York City to South Korea, "Bulldog Nation for Liberia Education" continues to build momentum as we eagerly anticipate the culmination of the project (May 3rd), when students and teachers from Canton High School will participate in the Providence Road Race.

Update: 1/14/09 - Greetings from Liberia

Kindly accept my belated happy and prosperous New Year greetings, it is my sincere hope that the coming year will further solidify and intensify our existing relationship.

As we all say farewell to 2008, we greatly appreciate your assistance and bond of friendship. In 2009, we are of the strong conviction that our resolves to build bridges intended to serve humanity will be increasingly strengthened. Let us stay in touch as we hunger after a smooth path for our current and ear marked activities for 2009.

Update: 1/5/08 - Coin Wars

After a two week "Coin Wars" between her classes, Mrs. Rudewicz's students brought in an estimated $700 dollars to contribute to "Bulldog Nation for Liberia Education." Below, a final look at the change before it was tallied and two of the participating classes. The students are from Canton High School (MA) - "Home of the Bulldogs" and creators of this fundraising initiative.

Update: 11/24/08 - Student Fundraiser

Three Orleans Elementary Students (MA) sold Ghanaian crafts to raise money for GWF. The bags and change purses were hand made by the students themselves (with help from mom) using Ghanaian cloths. The students raised approximately $400. They decided to donate it to "Bulldog Nation for Liberian Education" in order to buy desks and chairs for Liberian students.
