Service Learning
GWF Teachers Guide...Education for Everyone

-About This Page-

Service learning is a teaching method that combines core curriculum material, social awareness, and character building skills. Service learning allows students to use their brains to create better social situations for themselves and their communities. More and more schools across the globe are adopting service learning into their curriculum in an effort to promote social awareness.

GWF is currently in the process of creating specific service learning projects that challenge classrooms and students to broaden their definition of "community" to include all the world around them. As we develop our own projects we encourage you to browse other web sites to find other service learning opportunities and ideas.
