What is Project Wisdom? Project Wisdom is an embodiment of all our values: education, service learning, volunteering, multicultural studies, and social awareness. It is a three week educational journey set amidst the diverse landscape of Ghana. This program is for both American and Ghanaian students (ages 13-16) and seeks to challenge students to go beyond books and classrooms to learn about life, people, history, and ultimately themselves, through an intensive cultural immersion program. It is our belief that this Project will open students' eyes and have them walking away from their journey with a new appreciation for the cultures, histories, education, and people of Ghana and America, alike. |

| Project Wisdom: The ultimate field trip...From receiving lessons on the far reaching effects of slavery from within a once slave castle, to learning about global economy from cocoa fields and biodiversity and conservation from 12 stories above Ghana's rain forest, your classrooms will be as unique and memorable as the lessons themselves. |

Why Ghana? Ghana offers a perfect environment for intensive interactive learning. A safe country, with crime rates one tenth of many American cities, Ghana is a perfect blend of diversity and tolerance. Over 40 dialects are spoken, four major religions practiced, and dozens of distinct cultures live peacefully side by side, each one equally willing to adopt a newcomer as their very own. Besides the cultural uniqueness Ghana offers, it is also rich with history, wildlife, and deeply gracious people, making for an interesting, educational, and certainly unforgettable experience. |
