Volunteer From Home

Being a 100% volunteer run operation we rely entirely on our volunteers. Without them there would be no GWF. We are happy to work with anyone to brainstorm volunteer ideas that would be helpful to GWF and worthwhile for the volunteer.

Browse this page for some ideas and to see what former volunteers have done.

In the first two years of GWF's existance, we have been fortuante enough to have spent not a single penny from donations on our operations! Of the over $15,000 that has been donated, all of it has been used to help support our partner schools. This means that we are often unable to do simple things like advertise and pay for fundraisers. Therefore, we rely on motivared individuals with a similar passion as GWF to help support our own operations through volunteering ffom home.

Volunteering from home is a one time commitment. Interested people should contact GWF to express their interest in helping out. From there we will help you develop your ideas and assist you in any way that we can.

GWF volunteers need to be self motivated, creative, and share a passion for education and/or the development of Ghana, West Africa.
