Volunteer America

GWF is run by a group of volunteers. We are full time mothers, fathers, teachers, and employers. We use whatever free time we can find to promote our mission and support education. We can ALWAYS use help. No matter your interests or talents, GWF is always looking for motivated people to help carry the load.

Who: GWF volunteers should be self motivated, creative, and share a passion for education and/or the development of Ghana (Sub-Saharan Africa). Past volunteers have been: high school students looking to meet volunteer quotas for graduation, past Ghana volunteers, teachers looking to stay involved with education in the summer months, people looking to add to their resume, habitual volunteers looking for the right cause, and many more.

Why: Our Volunteer America program is essential to our successes in Ghana. By creating a vast network of volunteers across America GWF can continue to grow in size, taking on more and more schools and organizations in Ghana, as well as continue to ensure that the maximum percent of our donations go to where it is needed most - Ghana.

What: Volunteering from home is a one time commitment. Interested people should contact GWF to express their interest in helping out. From there we will help you develop your ideas and assist you in any way that we can.
