The GWF Team
"Hi, I'm Mike. Currently, I am the contact person here in the states for GWF. A lot of my time at GWF is spent doing things like fundraisers and developing programs, but Project Wisdom is my passion. I love the idea of giving students from the States a chance to learn from and help students in Ghana and vice versa. We all have so much we can learn from eachother and I think Project Wisdom can be that starting block. I am the Dean, Head Varsity Basketball Coach, and a teacher at Martin Luther King HS in North Philadelphia. I try and visit Ghana every summer between school years. I can always use help with developing fundraisers and programs here in the U.S. if anyone is interested in becoming involved.

Hello, I'm Miles. Currently, I'm the main go-between with everything that happens in Ghana (and Liberia now too) - I could really use some help in this area if your reading this and are interested. I am a full time father, husband, and teacher. In between these duties, I find time to work on GWF. My two favorite things about GWF: 1) working with schools in America doing service projects. The realization, from the students, that they can make a significant change in the world is priceless. 2) Teaching and helping out at the schools in Ghana. Their dedication to education is a teacher's dream.

Hi, I'm Bob, webmaster and internet guy. I make sure the "gubbins" inside the GWF internet site are running smoothly. Miles, Erin and Mike write the content and design the pretty bits. I do the complicated bits like photo galleries, member registration, store, donation gateways, and email. There's a lot of fun and a great challenge to making sure the site runs on computers in the US and Ghana . For a while, some of the students at the Wisdom Academy had email accounts on the site that they accessed from an internet cafe in Accra and I am looking forward to starting up another program like that. I'm married with three children and live in Katonah, New York which is an hour outside New York City . My recommendation: join GWF and get really entertaining newletters from Miles.

Hi, I'm Erin. Currently my main role at GWF is taking care of the finances and book-keeping responsibilties. In the past I have been heavily involved in various programs including our student sponsorship program. I love working for GWF and have gained much from the learning and experiences it has offered.
