GWF Volunteer Program |
When GWF was created in 2005, our first decision was to make it a volunteer run operation. This unique approach was based on the simple fact that by doing so, we could ensure that the schools and students who truly need the funds get the maximum support with each donation. Today, GWF is still a 100% volunteer operation, a collaboration of individuals who share a similar vision of making a small difference in the world through education. We come from different backgrounds, none of which include the NPO sector, and are all full time employees or students. GWF is not our job and never will be. It is our passion. As GWF continues to expand, so to does the need for volunteers. The GWF Volunteer Program recruits motivated individuals to take an active role in our operations. Interested individuals can travel to Ghana to help the schools first hand, volunteer from home to raise awareness and/or funds, participate in service learning projects and internships, or even become a part of the GWF team. Check out our Volunteer Hall of Fame! |
